On March 7, 2024, at the Ministry of Finance headquarters, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Chi chaired a conference on the circulation of the Decision on reshuffling and appointing the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Stock Exchange (VSE).
Attending the conference were also Vice Chairman of the State Securities Commission (SSC) Hoang Van Thu; Deputy Party Secretary of the SSC Nguyen Trong Thanh; representatives of the Organization and Personnel Department – Ministry of Finance, VSE and representatives of some units under the Ministry of Finance.
At the conference, Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Chi congratulated and handed over Decision No. 369/QD-SSC dated March 1, 2024, of the Minister of Finance on the reshuffling and appointment of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the VSE to Mr. Luong Hai Sinh. The Decision takes effect from March 1, 2024.
It is known that Mr. Luong Hai Sinh, born in 1975 in Thai Nguyen, holds a master’s degree in international economics from the Foreign Trade University – Hanoi, and an international master’s degree from the University of Sunderland (UK). Mr. Sinh was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Development Bank (VDB) from October 2019 and was reappointed in December 2022, for the term 2021 – 2026.
On February 1, 2023, Mr. Luong Hai Sinh was appointed Deputy Chairman of the SSC.
