Binh Duong develops “Triple-in-One” industrial park.

The new generation of Industrial Parks in Binh Duong are equipped with a well-planned technical infrastructure and modern social facilities.

The Binh Duong provincial government announced that the province currently has 28 industrial parks (IPs) in operation, with an occupancy rate of over 93%, making it the province with the highest IP occupancy rate in the country.

As of now, Binh Duong’s IPs have 3,080 effective projects, including 2,400 foreign-invested projects with a registered capital of nearly $29 billion, and 680 domestically invested projects with a registered capital of VND 93,576 billion.

VSIP III Industrial Park – Binh Duong is the first new generation IP in the province.

According to the 2024 plan, the provincial IP management board aims to attract about 130-140 investment projects to IPs, with a total foreign investment capital of about $1.2-$1.3 billion and attract domestic investment capital of VND 1,100-1,200 billion.

The total investment capital for construction is VND 5,700 billion, land leased and subleased is 100-150 hectares, attracting 15,000 laborers, total revenue is $35-$40 billion.

Currently, VSIP III (Phase 2) IPs with over 800 hectares and Cay Truong IP with 700 hectares are completing infrastructure and preparing clean land to attract new investment.

  • Eco-industrial park is a necessity trend

During 2023-2025, Binh Duong will invest in 10 IPs, with a total land area of about 3,154 hectares.

During 2026-2030, there will be 19 IPs, with a total area of about 5,537 hectares. Including completing the IPs of the 2023-2025 phase, with an area of about 2,063 hectares and 9 newly invested IPs with an area of about 3,474 hectares.

These IPs are invested in the “3 in 1” model (IP – Urban area – Service area) with advanced and synchronous technical and social infrastructure.

The province’s investment attraction work for its IPs will be more selective towards specialized, ecological, and smart IPs, creating new attractions.

Viettel Post explores investment opportunities in Binh Duong

Recently, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, received and worked with the leaders of Viettel Post. According to information from Viettel Post, the company is planning to establish 37 large logistics centers nationwide, including in Binh Duong.

Specifically, Viettel Post has proposed the establishment of an international agricultural logistics center, including services such as product display booths, post-harvest agricultural product preservation warehouses, customs procedures, and inspection to ensure export standards to China and ASEAN countries.

Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Minh hopes that the two sides will closely coordinate to implement specific steps and realize Viettel Post’s strategy as soon as possible.
