As per the decision of the PVN’s Board of Directors on March 18, Mr. Le Ngoc Son has been appointed as the CEO of the Group for a term of 5 years (2024-2028). The decision is effective from the date of signing. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Son was holding the position of Deputy CEO of PVN.

This decision comes after Mr. Son was appointed as a Member of PVN’s Board of Directors on March 15, according to the decision of the Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises (CMSC).
Mr. Le Ngoc Son was born in 1972, holding a Master’s degree in Petroleum Assessment and Management, as well as being a Petroleum Drilling and Production Engineer. He has been working in the industry for nearly 30 years in various positions.
From March 2021 until now, Mr. Le Ngoc Son has been the Deputy CEO of the Group in charge of the E&P sector. Prior to that, he held the positions of Head of the Oil and Gas Exploitation Department of the Group, and CEO of the Phu Quoc Oil and Gas Operating Company.
