Building stocks, real estate attract money on HNX platform

There was a slight decrease in liquidity during the week from 11th to 15th March, with money flows showing local differentiation on each listed exchange.

Stocks rose during the trading week of 11-15 March, with the VN-Index gaining over 1.3% to reach 1,263.8 points; the HNX-Index increased accordingly to 239.54 points.

Despite the increase in points, market liquidity has been quite subdued. On HOSE, average trading volume decreased by 12.5% to 983 million units/session, while average trading value decreased by 7% to 25.2 trillion dong/session.

On HNX, trading value slightly increased by 3.5% to 2.4 trillion dong, while trading volume decreased by 2.5% to 114 million units/session.

Overview of market liquidity during the week of 11-15 March

Looking at the industry groups, money flow on HOSE focused on the rubber group last week. DPR led the increase in liquidity on HOSE with a growth rate of over 300% in the past week. The stock price increased by nearly 20% in just one week, closing at 40,600 dong/share (15/03 session).

Other rubber stocks such as PHR and DRC also made significant gains in liquidity in the past week.

Outside the rubber group, money flow on HOSE was spread across various industry groups, rather than concentrated in a specific group.

On HNX, money flow was focused on real estate and construction stocks. The construction group stood out with stocks such as CMS, MCO, S99, C69, LIG… In particular, CMS recorded a 300% increase in trading volume compared to the previous week. The stock price also increased by nearly 17%.

As for the real estate group, DTD, NDN, VC7, CSC… were among the top stocks with strong liquidity on HNX.

In terms of withdrawal, real estate and plastic stocks on HOSE saw significant withdrawals. LDG, EVG, BCG, HQC, NBB, VPB, NVL from the real estate group and RDP, DAG, SCR, HCD from the plastic group were all included in the top stocks with significant liquidity decline on this exchange.

On HNX, construction material stocks experienced withdrawals with representatives such as ITQ, GKM, PLC, DVG.
