MG HS receives a nearly 50 million VND discount
According to information from a dealer in Hanoi, MG HS is currently being discounted up to 49 million VND. The price of the standard version after the discount is only 650 million VND.

This is not a program from the manufacturer but only from the dealership, so the discount amount is not the same everywhere. In other places, HS is being sold for a price starting at 669 million VND, which is 19 million VND higher than the price reported by the above-mentioned dealership.
HS price competes with vehicles in the lower segment
After the discount, the price of HS not only competes with rivals like CX-5 and Tucson but is also lower than many models in the B-class. For example, HR-V has a starting price of 699 million VND, which is currently discounted by dealerships by about 30 million VND. Or the premium version of Creta with a list price of 699 million VND is the same as HS, but the discounted price at dealerships is about 678 million VND, considerably higher than HS.
Prices of many B-class models on the market, even after discounts, are still more expensive than the price of MG HS.
MG HS arrives in Vietnam as an upgraded version
MG HS 2024 was launched in the Vietnamese market at the end of January 2024. It has only been less than 2 months and this model has already been discounted by dealerships.
The new HS is an upgraded facelift version. This version has a few changes in the exterior such as a new LED headlight cluster, a large grille similar to the MG5 style, and a new 18-inch 5-spoke wheel design. The overall dimensions and shape of the car remain unchanged compared to the previous version sold by the previous distributor.
The interior of the new HS has not changed much compared to before. Some prominent features in the car include a fully digital screen behind the steering wheel, a 10-inch central screen, Bose sound system, sport-style seats, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, and a panoramic sunroof.
The engine of the car remains unchanged, still a 1.5L turbocharged engine with a power output of 168 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque, accompanied by a 7-speed dual-clutch wet transmission and front-wheel drive. The facelift version no longer offers the option of a 2.0L turbocharged engine.
The 2024 HS has notable safety features such as a 360-degree camera, rear sensors, automatic headlights, ABS, EBD, and 6 airbags… The Luxury version adds an advanced safety package including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, forward collision warning, emergency braking assistance, blind-spot warning, and safe door opening warning.
