Bao Tin Minh Chau also adjusted down 900,000 VND in the morning and 650,000 VND in the afternoon, down to 81.6-83.7 million VND per tael.
DOJI Gold is currently listing the SJC gold price at 81.5-83.7 million VND/tael, down 500,000 VND when buying and 300,000 VND when selling.
Meanwhile, VietinBank Gold adjusted the gold price to 81.5-83.82 million VND/tael, down 1 million VND when buying and 1.3 million VND when selling.
Mi Hong Gold also decreased by 400,000 VND when buying and 300,000 VND when selling, currently at 82-83.5 million VND/tael.
PNJ alone did not adjust the SJC gold price, keeping it at 82.3 – 84.3 million VND/tael.

The price of gold rings also decreased slightly at the gold shops, with an average of 100,000 – 300,000 VND per tael. Specifically, the price of this precious metal at Bao Tin Minh Chau is 73.52-75.22 million VND/tael; PNJ is 73-74.7 million VND/tael; SJC listed the price at 73.1-74.8 million VND/tael; DOJI keeps the price at 73.85-75.5 million VND/tael.
This morning, the State Bank continued to organize a gold auction with the purpose of immediately implementing measures to stabilize the gold market to handle the status of the high difference between the domestic and international gold bar prices. The total volume of bullion expected to be auctioned today is 16,800 taels.
Previously, on April 23, the State Bank also organized the first SJC gold bar auction after 11 years. According to the announced results, only 2 members won the bid with a total volume of 34 lots (equivalent to 3,400 taels of gold) out of a total of 16,800 taels offered for sale. The highest winning bid was 81.33 million VND/tael and the lowest was 81.32 million VND/tael.
On the world market, according to Vietnamese time, spot gold prices are currently at USD 2312/ounce, down slightly by USD 3 compared to the closing price of the previous day. Compared to the peak of USD 2.432/ounce on April 12, the world gold price has decreased by USD 110. According to analysts, reduced fears of escalating tensions in the Middle East have caused gold prices to decline.
According to the conversion, the world gold price is currently at 71 million VND/tael, still 12.8 million VND lower than the domestic gold price.
