Bac Ninh city’s intersection 6 is one of the biggest and most vibrant intersections in Vietnam. It is where major roads such as Ly Thai To, Tran Hung Dao, and Nguyen Dang Dao converge. Notably, Ly Thai To street has 8 lanes and wide sidewalks of up to 7 meters. This is also the main traffic axis of Bac Ninh City.

Due to its central location, the area around intersection 6 has become a hub for administrative agencies, shopping malls, and prominent businesses and projects in Bac Ninh province.

First and foremost, Vincom Plaza Ly Thai To is the main attraction in the area around intersection 6. It is one of the largest shopping malls in Bac Ninh province, with a total area of over 1.7 hectares, including 2 basement floors and 3 above-ground floors. It is home to nearly 50 well-known domestic and international brands such as Adidas, Vitimex, Doji, and Charme perfume.

Vinhomes Bac Ninh, a residential apartment complex by Vingroup, is located above Vincom Plaza. The project consists of two towers (27 and 31 stories) with about 550 apartments, offices, and retail spaces ranging in size from 44 to 97 square meters (1-3 bedrooms).

Him Lam Plaza, the first upscale shopping center in Bac Ninh, is located opposite Vincom Plaza. It has been in operation since 2011. The building has five floors, with the first through fourth floors dedicated to retail and the fifth and attic floors reserved for restaurants and entertainment. However, this complex has closed in order to make way for the construction of a mixed-use Commercial, Office, Hotel, Condominium, and Other Services building.

Alongside Vingroup, Vietcombank, one of Vietnam’s largest commercial banks, has a presence in the intersection 6 area.

The Viglacera Bac Ninh commercial, office, and apartment complex, which includes buildings with 5, 9, 12, and 15 stories, is also worth mentioning. Viglacera is well-known for being the primary investor in several major industrial zones in Bac Ninh province, including Tien Son Industrial Park, Yen Phong Industrial Park, and Thuan Thanh Industrial Park.

Additionally, the stretch of road from the Bac Ninh city intersection 6 to the Ly Thai To statue (approximately one kilometer long) is home to several provincial agencies and departments, including the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Administrative Center, and the Department of Home Affairs.

While Vincom Plaza and the Vinhomes Bac Ninh apartments are the focal points of the area surrounding intersection 6, the Kinh Bac Cultural Center serves as the focal point of the Provincial Administrative Center. The center has been built to a high standard and covers a total area of 10 hectares. Hundreds of events are held here annually, ranging from meetings, conferences, and gatherings to major events like cultural and artistic performances, festivals, exhibitions, and displays.

Not just the area around intersection 6, but also the surrounding areas, have been meticulously planned and developed. The streets are lined with trees, creating a spacious and refreshing environment.

Bac Ninh city’s intersection 6 has established itself as one of Vietnam’s biggest and busiest intersections thanks to its distinctive architectural style and the presence of prominent businesses.
