BIDV’s savings interest rates for individual customers in June 2024
In the first week of June, the interest rates offered by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) for individual customers depositing at the counter range from 1.7% to 4.7% per annum.
Specifically, customers who deposit for 1-2 months will receive an interest rate of 1.7% per annum; the rate for 3-month and 5-month deposits is 2% per annum; and the rate for 6-month and 9-month deposits is 3% per annum.
For deposits with a term of 12 months or more, a uniform interest rate of 4.7% per annum is applied.

In addition to counter deposits, BIDV also offers online deposits via Mobile Banking/Internet Banking. The interest rates for online deposits are 0.1% to 0.3% higher than those for counter deposits.
Specifically, the interest rate for 1-3 week deposits is 0.3% per annum; for 1-2 month deposits, it is 2% per annum; for 3-5 month deposits, it is 2.3% per annum; for 6-11 month deposits, it is 3.3% per annum; for 12-18 month deposits, it is 4.7% per annum; and for 24-36 month deposits, it is 4.8% per annum.
Thus, the highest interest rate currently offered by BIDV is 4.8% per annum for individual online deposits with a term of 24-36 months.

For business customers, BIDV’s interest rates range from 1.6% to 4.2% per annum.
Specifically, the interest rate for business customers depositing for 1-2 months is 1.6% per annum; for 3-5 months, it is 1.9% per annum; and for 6-11 months, it is 3% per annum.
In June 2024, the most favorable interest rate for business customers is 4.2% per annum, applicable for terms ranging from 12 to 60 months.
