The total value of bonus shares is over VND 800 billion at par value. The issuance capital is derived from the surplus of accumulated equity based on the audited separate financial statements for 2023. The issuance is expected to take place in 2024, after obtaining approval from the State Securities Commission of Vietnam.
In June 2024, Bamboo Capital Group successfully issued 266.7 million shares at a price of VND 10,000 per share. The issuance success rate reached an impressive 99.99%. With this successful offering, Bamboo Capital raised approximately VND 2,667 billion and increased its charter capital to VND 8,001 billion.
Following the additional issuance of a 10% stock dividend, Bamboo Capital’s charter capital will increase to over VND 8,800 billion.
The successful issuances have enabled Bamboo Capital to strengthen its capital base, providing additional funds for the Group’s business operations. This also allows the Group to align its capital structure with the value of its current assets and adjust its debt-to-equity ratio, thereby benefiting shareholders in the long term as Bamboo Capital embarks on a series of large-scale projects.
BCG Energy, Bamboo Capital’s renewable energy arm, is preparing to construct a modern waste-to-energy power plant in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024. The first phase of the project entails an investment of VND 5,000 billion, with a waste incineration capacity of 2,000 tons per day and a power generation capacity of 60 MW. In the subsequent phase, the plant’s waste incineration capacity is expected to increase to 5,200 tons per day, with a corresponding power generation capacity of 130 MW, making it one of the largest plants in the world in this field. BCG Energy is also actively developing wind power projects included in the Power Development Plan VIII, with a total capacity of nearly 1 GW.

BCG Energy has consistently attracted partnerships with major international energy groups such as SP Group, Sembcorp, SK Group, Hanwha Group, and Leader Energy Group for their investments in Vietnam. In June, BCG Energy signed an agreement with SK Ecoplant (a subsidiary of SK Group, the second-largest chaebol in South Korea) and Sudokwon Landfill Site Management Corp. to develop waste-to-energy projects and waste management solutions in potential southern provinces.
On June 18, BCG Energy was assigned the stock code BGE. It is expected that 730 million BGE shares will be traded on the UPCoM exchange in July.
Tracodi, Bamboo Capital’s construction and infrastructure arm, has been collaborating with reputable domestic and foreign construction and infrastructure companies, including Construction and Design Joint Stock Company No. 1 and China International Railway Group, to jointly develop construction and transportation infrastructure projects, as well as industrial park and social housing infrastructure in Vietnam.
Tracodi is also in the process of issuing a 10% stock dividend to its shareholders, with a record date of July 9, 2024. In September 2024, Tracodi is expected to change its name to Tracodi Construction Group Joint Stock Company.
For the year 2024, Bamboo Capital Group sets a consolidated revenue target of VND 6,102.5 billion and a net profit target of VND 951.7 billion. Compared to the results of 2023, the Group’s business plan for 2024 is expected to achieve a 152% growth in revenue and a remarkable 556% increase in profit.
Looking ahead to the 2024-2028 period, Bamboo Capital forecasts an average annual growth rate of 50% in revenue, equivalent to a projected revenue of VND 30,475.2 billion in 2028. The Group also aims for a net profit of VND 4,535.6 billion in 2028. By 2028, Bamboo Capital plans to distribute an average annual dividend of 15%. During this period, the Group also intends to distribute dividends to shareholders at an average annual rate of approximately 15%, either in cash or in shares.

Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) has recently announced its 2023 business results. According to the report, the company’s consolidated revenue reached over 118 trillion Vietnamese dong, equivalent to 89% of the revenue in 2022.
