Samsung unveils its new 1TB microSD cards, the Pro Plus and Evo Plus, offering exceptional storage capacity and performance for content creators and data enthusiasts.

Samsung has introduced its latest innovation in memory cards with the launch of the 1TB microSD cards, named Pro Plus and Evo Plus. These powerful cards are designed to meet the needs of content creators and those seeking efficient data transfer and storage solutions.

With a massive 1TB capacity, users can store an impressive 400,000 UHD images (approximately 2.3MB each) or 45 console games (20GB per game). The Pro Plus and Evo Plus cards truly revolutionize mobile storage options for smartphones, action cameras, drones, and handheld gaming devices.

The Pro Plus card offers a capacity range of 128GB to 1TB, delivering sequential read and write speeds of up to 180MB/s and 130MB/s, respectively. On the other hand, the Evo Plus card provides exceptional transfer speeds of 160MB/s. Both cards are equipped with UHS Speed Class 3 and Video Speed Class 30, ensuring seamless 4K UHD video capture and A2-standard app performance.

Samsung’s new microSD cards also feature a controller based on 28nm technology, resulting in significant power efficiency improvements compared to the previous 55nm-based cards.
