Wuling Mini EV Discounted at Dealerships: A Closer Look at the Offerings

A dealership in Hung Yen is offering significant discounts on the Wuling Mini EV, with reductions of up to VND 58 million and VND 48 million on the 120 km and 170 km range variants, respectively. Following the discounts, the Mini EV LV2 120km is priced at VND 197 million, while the LV2 170 km variant is offered at VND 231 million.

According to the dealership’s consultant, the standard version of the Wuling Mini EV has been sold out for a long time. It is important to note that these discounts are specific to individual dealerships and may vary across locations. For instance, a Wuling dealership in Thanh Hoa is offering a VND 30 million discount on the Enhanced version.

Exploring the Differences Between the Four Mini EV Variants

Currently, four variants of the Mini EV are available in the market, with listed prices ranging from VND 239 million to VND 279 million.

The Standard 1 variant is the most basic version, featuring halogen headlights without daytime running lights and black steel wheels. It is the lightest version, weighing only 665 kg. The interior conveniences of the Standard and Enhanced variants mainly differ in the materials used for certain details and the sound system, with the Standard having one speaker and the Enhanced having two.

The compact size of the Mini EV makes it ideal for urban driving.

The Standard 1 and Standard 2 variants differ in their battery specifications. The former is equipped with a 9.6 kWh battery, offering a range of 120 km and a charging time of 6.5 hours. In contrast, the latter features a 13.4 kWh battery, providing a range of 170 km and a charging time of 9 hours.

The interior of the Wuling Mini EV is simple and functional.

The Enhanced variant is also available with the same two battery options as the Standard. Additionally, it offers more modern features, including projector halogen headlights, LED daytime running lights, a glowing Wuling logo, a two-speaker audio system, a rearview camera, and a sun visor for the driver.

The 2024 Mini EV: Anticipated Arrival in Vietnam

The recent discounts on the Mini EV could be paving the way for the introduction of the new Mini EV Macaron 2024 model in the country. Some dealerships are already accepting reservations for the new model, claiming that it will be available later this year. Wuling has not confirmed the information from the dealerships but has stated that they will provide an update when official information is released.

The 2024 Mini EV boasts several significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, including oval-shaped LED headlights and taillights, two interior displays, including an 8-inch touchscreen central display, redesigned air vents, and a larger 17.3 kWh battery that offers a range of up to 210 km. Additionally, it features enhanced safety with the inclusion of two airbags.
