Just a few minutes ago, singer Dam Vinh Hung shared information about being scammed out of 200 million VND. According to the once “Vietnamese Music King,” he was scammed by someone impersonating a police officer. The singer of “Say Tinh” also warned others to be cautious as scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated.
Dam Vinh Hung wrote on his personal Facebook page: “I’ve just been scammed, so please don’t transfer any money to my account. Someone impersonated a police officer from District 10 and asked me to come for identity verification. They said I had to use an Android phone because that’s the state’s standardized system.”
They used facial recognition, everyone. I lost more than 200 million VND. Please be extremely cautious. Their tactics are super sophisticated.”
