The VinFast VF3 has quickly become a phenomenon in the Vietnamese automotive industry, with 27,000 orders placed just 66 hours after its price announcement and the opening of bookings.
Aside from its design and features, many customers have been curious about charging their vehicles. Previously, customers could only charge their VF3s using DC charging stations provided by VinFast or third-party providers.
To address the need for home charging, VinFast has introduced a portable charger for the VF3. Customers now have two options:
– A 2.2 kW portable VF3 charger for home use, priced at VND 4 million.
– A VF3 OBC portable charger that doubles as an adapter for AC public charging stations, priced at VND 6 million.
With these options, customers can now charge their electric vehicles using VinFast’s official charging stations with a capacity of 30kWh or higher, or they can opt for a specialized charger with an AC-DC converter to charge at home or using a standard AC 220v power supply. The sale of these chargers will commence on August 15.
According to customers, the pricing for these chargers is very reasonable compared to similar products on the market. Ordering a similar charger from e-commerce platforms can be significantly more expensive, costing up to tens of millions of VND. Some have also pointed out that a high-quality phone charger can cost upwards of VND 1 million, making the VF3 charger a great deal.
In addition to the portable charger, VinFast offers a range of accessories for the VF3, including a roof rack, vertical bar, steering wheel cover, floor mats, steering wheel cover, and rear camera. With these accessories, owners can customize their vehicles to their liking and add a personal touch. The accessory collection will be available for purchase on the VinFast website and at showrooms nationwide.
Currently, the VinFast VF3 is offered with a battery leasing option for VND 240 million, while the price for the car with a battery included is VND 322 million. VinFast provides three battery leasing packages for customers to choose from: VND 900,000 per month for a distance of less than 1,500 km/month, VND 1,200,000 per month for a distance of 1,500 – 2,500 km/month, and VND 2,000,000 per month for a distance of more than 2,500 km/month.
The VinFast VF3 comes with a generous warranty of up to 7 years or 160,000 km (whichever comes first), while the high-voltage battery is warranted for 8 years with unlimited mileage.
