The Ministry of Transport recently inspected and reviewed the progress of 12 component projects of the North-South Expressway Phase 2 (2021 – 2025). As of August 20, the Ministry announced that 7 projects, with a total investment of over VND 71,000 billion, are on track to complete the main route by April 30, 2025 – half a year ahead of schedule.

These 7 expressway projects include: Bai Vot – Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi – Vung Ang, Vung Ang – Bung, Bung – Van Ninh, Van Ninh – Cam Lo, Chi Thanh – Van Phong, and Van Phong – Nha Trang.

The North-South Expressway Phase 2 is a crucial national project, closely supervised by the National Assembly and the Government. It comprises 12 component projects planned for completion by 2025. Despite these obstacles, the project management boards, consulting supervisors, and contractors have worked with the highest sense of responsibility. They mobilized modern machinery, equipment, and a large workforce to work tirelessly, even during adverse weather conditions, to achieve this remarkable milestone.
