The National Day holiday on September 2nd offers a four-day break, from August 31st to September 3rd, 2024. Vietnam National Tourism Administration recognizes this as an opportunity for locals and tourists to explore and travel, as well as a chance for the tourism industry and local authorities to boost and expand the market.
On August 28th, the Vietnam National Tourism Administration issued a document regarding ensuring tourism activities during the National Day holiday. The administration requested that the Departments of Tourism and Culture, Sports, and Tourism strengthen state management of tourism and tourism services in their respective areas.
Emphasis should be placed on inspecting and controlling the quality of tourism service providers to promptly handle any violations of tourism, environmental protection, and food safety laws.
Tourism management departments are instructed to direct the management boards of tourist areas and tourist attractions, as well as tourism and tourism service facilities, to strictly implement the Prime Minister’s Dispatch No. 81/CD-TTg on ensuring traffic order and safety during the National Day holiday on September 2 and the peak month of traffic safety for students returning to school.
“At tourist areas and attractions offering water-based entertainment and recreational services, measures to ensure security and traffic safety, especially inland waterway traffic safety, must be implemented. Travel companies must not use unregistered, unchecked, or unsafe means of transportation to serve tourists,” the Vietnam National Tourism Administration stated.
