MG ZS: Massive Discounts Available at Dealerships Nationwide
Dealerships across Vietnam, including one in Hanoi, are offering enticing promotions on the MG ZS. Specifically, both the MG ZS Std and Lux versions are eligible for a 200% discount on registration fees.
With this discount, Hanoi residents can save up to VND 124 million on the MG ZS Std and a substantial VND 141 million on the ZS Lux.

MG ZS is now more affordable than ever at dealerships nationwide.
But that’s not all – customers will also receive a voucher and accessory package worth VND 60 million. According to sales consultants, these gifts can be exchanged for VND 10 million in cash.
After taking advantage of these discounts and exchanging gifts for cash, the MG ZS Std and Lux are astonishingly priced at just VND 384 million and VND 437 million, respectively.

The MG ZS now undercuts the price of the Toyota Raize.
In comparison to other vehicles in its class, the MG ZS, a subcompact SUV, boasts a lower price tag than even some superminis. The Toyota Raize, priced at VND 498 million, and the Kia Sonet, ranging from VND 539 to 624 million, are both more expensive than the MG ZS. Even the top-of-the-line Hyundai i10 1.2AT, in both hatchback and sedan variants, falls short in terms of value, with a price range of VND 435 to 455 million. The Kia Morning, another supermini competitor, peaks at VND 424 million.
What Does the MG ZS Offer?
The MG ZS, imported from Thailand, has undergone a design and equipment upgrade since January 2021.

Under the hood, the MG ZS is equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 112 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. It is paired with a continuously variable transmission that simulates 8 gears and powers the front wheels. The suspension setup consists of MacPherson struts at the front and a torsion beam at the rear.
In terms of safety, the MG ZS offers a slight edge over its competitors, featuring a 360-degree camera (on the highest trim), hill descent control, curve brake control, and tire pressure monitoring sensors.

MG Vietnam recently announced impressive sales figures, with over 10,000 vehicles sold nationwide in the last 12 months. According to a sales manager, the MG ZS has significantly contributed to this success.
The Domestic Auto Industry Under Threat
There are numerous reasons why imported fully-built car sales consistently outperform domestically produced and assembled vehicles.
