Vietnam Airlines is offering complimentary shipping for relief goods from organizations, unions, businesses, and government agencies on flights operated by the Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, and Vasco).
Starting September 10th, relief goods shipped with Vietnam Airlines Group will be exempt from shipping charges, fuel surcharges, and other related fees. They will also receive priority loading on flights from airports across the country to Noi Bai (Hanoi), Cat Bi (Hai Phong), Vinh (Nghe An), Tho Xuan (Thanh Hoa), Van Don (Quang Ninh), and Dien Bien.
This program is applicable to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels, the People’s Committees of provinces and cities, the Vietnam Red Cross at all levels, and charitable funds (established and recognized by the State). Organizations and individuals wishing to send support to the northern provinces affected by floods and storms can do so through the aforementioned agencies and organizations to take advantage of the free shipping offer.

Bamboo Airways has also announced that it will provide free shipping for relief goods to northern Vietnam from September 11 to September 26, 2024.
Essential goods (including necessities and essential items) for flood-affected communities will be prioritized for free shipping on Bamboo Airways flights as soon as possible. This policy applies to all Bamboo Airways flights departing from Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Cam Ranh, Quy Nhon, and Dalat to Hanoi.
To ensure efficient and smooth relief goods transportation, please package the goods securely and in parcels. Each parcel should not exceed 40 kg, and each shipment should not exceed 500 kg. Each flight will carry a maximum of 500 kg of aid cargo.
Additionally, agencies and units wishing to send goods must provide an official dispatch and a detailed list of relief items. Bamboo Airways will not transport goods containing internal batteries or dangerous items to ensure aviation security and safety.
