Viettel, Mobifone Donate Directly to Customers in Storm-hit Areas; Vinaphone Keeps Branches Open Till Midnight

Viettel has recently announced that from September 9, they will be automatically crediting prepaid subscribers with 20,000 VND (valid for 5 days) in areas affected by floods and landslides in nine provinces: Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Yen Bai, and Lao Cai.

Following suit, MobiFone is offering a similar relief package to its prepaid customers in Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Bac Ninh, and Thai Binh, who have less than 5,000 VND in their main account balance as of September 9, 2024. They are providing a credit of 30,000 VND in the KM3T account, valid for 7 days from the date of credit, for voice and SMS services to any network.

Vinaphone has also stepped up to provide support by extending the operating hours of their stores in affected areas, offering additional charging stations, and ensuring fast and easy connections for those in need. Notably, Vinaphone stores in Quang Ninh are now open from 7 AM to 10 PM, with some even operating 24 hours to maximize customer support.
