Mitsubishi Dominates Best-Sellers List
According to sales reports from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) and Hyundai Thanh Cong, the Mitsubishi Xforce has maintained its position as the best-selling car in the country for the second consecutive month, with 2,540 units delivered.
Excluding VinFast Vietnam’s unofficial electric vehicle sales, the Xforce has reigned supreme in the SUV-B segment for three consecutive months, outperforming its competitors.

This success contradicts the concerns of many experts who initially doubted Mitsubishi’s assertion that the Xforce could match the sales of the Xpander upon its release in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Xpander continues to dominate the 7-seat MPV segment in Vietnam. With 1,003 units sold in August, it topped the segment and ranked sixth in the overall market. Since the beginning of the year, the Xpander has recorded a total of 10,268 units sold, averaging nearly 1,300 units per month.
Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam has recently introduced the all-new Triton 2024, building on its sales momentum. The sixth generation of this pickup truck features significant enhancements in design, technology, performance, and safety features. It is offered in three variants, priced from 655 million to 924 million VND.
Industry experts believe that Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam is entering a prosperous phase with strategic models like the Xpander and Xforce. This momentum, coupled with the comprehensive changes in the new generation models, positions the Japanese joint venture for growth in both sales and market share for the Triton, despite the segment’s dominant presence of the Ranger.
Generous Incentives to Sustain Victory
In September, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam continued its aggressive incentives across its entire product line, aiming to maintain its position in the best-sellers list.
Specifically, customers purchasing the Xforce will receive a cash bonus equivalent to 50% of the registration fee, fuel vouchers worth up to 20 million VND, and a miniature Xforce model.
For the Xpander, customers will be offered a cash gift equivalent to 100% of the registration fee, along with a rearview camera or a 360-degree camera, depending on the variant.
The all-new Mitsubishi Triton 2024 offers attractive incentives to customers.
Even the all-new Triton comes with generous incentives, including a 50% registration fee discount of up to 28 million VND, free engine oil and filter changes for the first 6 services, and a gift package worth 10 million VND.
In addition to the aforementioned promotions and incentives of 50-100% registration fee discounts on other models such as the Attrage, Outlander, and Pajero Sport, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam is expected to forego profits of at least 140 billion VND if it maintains the average sales volume of the Triton (160 units/month), Xforce (1,000 units/month), and Xpander (1,200 units/month).
