This is the first ticket sale based on the current flight schedule approved by the authorities. Vietnam Airlines and other carriers will regularly monitor market demand, aircraft resources, and slot allocations from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to open subsequent sales and widely announce them to the public for proactive and convenient year-end travel planning.

The high-demand routes during the Lunar New Year 2025 will connect the three major cities of Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City with various provinces, including Hai Phong, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Pleiku, Dalat, Buon Ma Thuot, and Phu Quoc. Passengers can purchase Lunar New Year 2025 tickets starting today, September 16, through the website, mobile application, ticket offices, or official agents of Vietnam Airlines.

For convenient travel and preferred schedules, Vietnam Airlines encourages passengers to proactively plan and book their trips early. To avoid purchasing counterfeit or overpriced tickets during this peak season, passengers are advised to buy tickets through the official website, mobile application, ticket offices, or authorized agents.

With efforts to increase capacity, Vietnam Airlines aims to provide passengers with more options to return home and celebrate the Lunar New Year with their families.

The shortage of aircraft due to the engine recall order from the manufacturer, Pratt & Whitney, for the Airbus A321neo is expected to create pressure on supply during the Lunar New Year 2025. Vietnam Airlines is actively working with the authorities to increase flights, consider leasing additional aircraft, and expedite the process of receiving and deploying new aircraft, such as the Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A320, in Vietnam by the end of the year to maximize transport capacity and provide more seats for passengers.
