Kia reveals the highly anticipated 2024 Carnival for the Vietnamese market. With four distinct trim levels – Luxury, Premium 8-seater, Premium 7-seater, and Signature – the Carnival starts at a competitive price of 1.299 billion VND.
The 2024 Kia Carnival receives subtle yet elegant design updates.
As a mid-cycle refresh, the 2024 Carnival retains its overall dimensions and platform while introducing refined changes to its front fascia, taillights, and wheel designs. The iconic tiger-nose grille is now larger and adorned with hexagonal chrome accents.
The full LED lighting system features vertically oriented side markers. The LED headlights gain projector beams, and the turn signals are more slender, making it easy to distinguish from its predecessor.
The Carnival facelift boasts striking 19-inch 3D-patterned alloy wheels and LED Star-map taillights with angular rear bumpers, creating a captivating visual effect at night.
Step inside, and you’re greeted by a stunning pair of 12.3-inch screens. The digital instrument cluster on the left displays essential vehicle information, while the infotainment screen on the right supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The Carnival also boasts a 12-speaker Bose sound system.
Other notable amenities include 12-way power-adjustable front seats with memory function for two positions, 6-way power-adjustable passenger seat with heating and ventilation, dual-zone climate control, and 64-color ambient lighting.
The 2024 Carnival offers versatile seating configurations with 7- and 8-seater options. The 7-seater layout features two business-class seats in the middle row that recline deeply and come with cooling, heating, and relaxation modes. The 8-seater configuration allows the middle-row seats to slide forward or backward, creating a walkthrough or rotating 180 degrees to face the third row for a more social setting. The center seat can be folded into an armrest or removed entirely for a walkthrough. The third-row seats recline up to 120 degrees for added comfort.
The Kia Carnival’s interior is versatile and ideal for large families.
Under the hood, the 2024 Carnival ditches the gasoline engine, now solely powered by a 2.2L diesel engine producing 199 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the front wheels.
The Carnival boasts an advanced ADAS suite, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Assist, and Rear Occupant Alert.
Standard safety features include eight airbags, ABS, ESC, Hill-start Assist Control, TPMS, 360-degree camera, Lane Keeping and Following Assist, adaptive headlights, and adaptive cruise control.
