With a total value of over VND 4.2 billion, the support program is a joint effort between SABECO and various partners to provide essential goods and food to flood-affected residents in Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, and Yen Bai. Each province is estimated to receive support worth VND 650,560,000. Prioritizing Employee Safety and Business Stability
With 44 member companies and over 12,000 employees in its system, SABECO is committed to ensuring the safety and health of its workforce, especially in the companies and factories directly managed by Saigon Beer Commerce Joint Stock Company Northeast and Saigon Beer Commerce Joint Stock Company North, which were affected by Storm Yagi. During this challenging period, the Executive Board, along with the SABECO Trade Union and related departments, are working together to:
Firstly, ensure the safety of employees and their families. Additionally, assess the condition of physical facilities and local infrastructure. Coordinate with local agencies and emergency services. And finally, continue supplying products to businesses in need of reconstruction.
SABECO’s employees have also demonstrated their unity and community spirit by participating in an internal donation program organized by the SABECO Trade Union to support colleagues in the affected areas.
“As a leading enterprise in Vietnam with the vision of ‘For a Rising Vietnam’, SABECO affirms its responsibility to accompany the localities where we operate,” shared Mr. Lester Tan, CEO of SABECO. “In difficult times, providing practical and timely support is crucial. We have temporarily halted other programs to focus on emergency relief for the community while ensuring the safety and health of our employees and maintaining business and production continuity. This reflects our people-centric philosophy and demonstrates SABECO’s commitment to promoting sustainability and enhancing the well-being of the Vietnamese people.”
