According to a survey conducted by our reporters in late September 2024, Yamaha’s Grande scooter is being offered with significant discounts by select dealerships to attract buyers.
Specifically, customers purchasing the Yamaha Grande during this period will receive an instant cash discount of VND 3.5 million. After applying the promotion, the standard Yamaha Grande is priced at only VND 42.64 million, while the limited and special editions are offered at VND 47.75 million and VND 47.06 million, respectively.
In addition, depending on the dealership, customers will receive additional gifts such as helmets, accessory vouchers, and vehicle maintenance services.
The Yamaha Grande is one of the standout models in the 125cc scooter segment for female riders in the Vietnamese market. In terms of dimensions, the Yamaha Grande boasts overall length, width, and height measurements of 1,820mm, 684mm, and 1,155mm, respectively, with a ground clearance of 127mm.
From the front, the turn signals are designed to be more compact and sleek, while the main headlights retain the familiar diamond shape. Additionally, the LED DRL strip running along the front mask adds a distinctive touch to the scooter’s overall design.
The Yamaha Grande boasts modern conveniences such as a fully digital instrument cluster with a new design that provides a clear and intuitive display of vehicle information. It also features Y-Connect, a system that enables Bluetooth connectivity between the scooter and your smartphone, allowing for convenient monitoring of the vehicle’s status.
The Yamaha Grande is also equipped with a SmartKey system (available on the Special and Limited editions), which includes a convenient rotary knob that integrates multiple functions such as vehicle locating, power on/off, steering lock, engine start/stop, seat opening, and fuel tank cap release.
Under the seat is a Blue Core Hybrid 125cc engine, air-cooled, delivering a maximum power of 9.38 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
According to the manufacturer, the Yamaha Grande offers impressive fuel efficiency, consuming only 1.66 liters per 100 kilometers, an improvement over the previous version’s 1.69 liters/100 km. When compared to competitors such as the Honda Lead (1.82 liters/100 km) and SH Mode (2.19 liters/100 km), the Yamaha Grande emerges as a more fuel-efficient option.
