On October 28, Mr. Tran Van Trung, the older brother of Ms. Tran Thi Trinh – Member of the Board of Supervisors of NED, sold all 2 million shares he held (equivalent to 4.94%).

Following that, from October 31 to November 4, Mr. Tran Van Phuc – Member of the Board of Supervisors of NED sold more than 2 million shares, reducing his ownership ratio from 5% to 0%. Also, on November 4, Mr. Luu Van Ho – Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of NED sold all of his more than 2.02 million shares, equivalent to 4.99% of the capital.

In total, two members of the Board of Supervisors and related persons sold more than 6 million shares.

In the opposite direction, Mr. Tran Van Ngu – Chairman of the Board of Directors of NED bought more than 7.7 million NED shares in the period from October 31 to November 6, increasing his ownership ratio from 15.3% (6.2 million shares) to over 34.4% (nearly 14 million shares).

In addition, An Khanh Hung Development Investment Joint Stock Company, a company related to Mr. Ngu and where he is also Chairman of the Board of Directors, is a major shareholder of NED. This company purchased 2.4 million NED shares on October 28, increasing its ownership ratio from 9.7% (3.9 million shares) to 15.6% (6.3 million shares).

The market recorded more than 10.1 million NED shares traded by agreement during the above periods, equivalent to the volume bought by Mr. Ngu and the related company, and also accounted for almost the entire total trading volume of shares in those sessions. Thus, it can be seen that the transactions of Mr. Ngu, An Khanh Hung Company, and the members of the Board of Supervisors were all agreement transactions.

On October 28, there was an agreement transaction of 2.4 million shares worth VND 19.2 billion (VND 8,300/share), most likely made by An Khanh Hung Company. Three other agreement transactions took place on October 31 (over 3.2 million shares, valued at VND 19.7 billion), November 4 (2.84 million shares, valued at VND 17.6 billion), and November 6 (1.67 million shares, valued at nearly VND 12 billion). The total volume of these transactions is equal to the volume bought by the Chairman of NED. Thus, it can be assumed that Mr. Ngu purchased the above shares for nearly VND 49 billion, equivalent to VND 6,360/share.

Price movement of NED shares since the beginning of 2024

Mr. Ngu was recently appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of NED for the term 2020-2025 from July 31, 2024, replacing Mr. Tran Van Huyen.
