As a result, Mr. Cuong’s ownership in DIG increased from 10.16% to 11.96%, equivalent to nearly 73 million shares.
Mr. Cuong stated that the reason he has not yet received the entire nearly 20.8 million inherited shares is that the transfer procedure is still being carried out at the relevant agencies. Mr. Cuong is the son of Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan – the late Chairman of the Board of Directors of DIG, who passed away on August 10, 2024. When Mr. Tuan passed away, Mr. Cuong, who was then Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Legal Representative of DIG. On September 10, he was additionally appointed as Chairman of the Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee. Mr. Cuong also holds the position of Chairman and Legal Representative of DIC Urbiz, representing 100% of DIC Corp.’s capital contribution.
