Hanoi shops offer massive discounts during Black Friday

Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping festivals of the year, and Hanoi’s retailers are not missing out on the action. With eye-catching discounts of up to 80% and even 90% off, along with buy-two-get-one deals, the city’s shops are pulling out all the stops to attract customers and boost year-end sales.

Black Friday is a highly anticipated annual event, with famous brands offering irresistible deals to captivate shoppers and boost year-end revenue.

Hanoi’s shopping districts have been bustling with activity in recent days, with “Black Friday Sale” signs dominating the streets. The discounts are hard to resist, ranging from 30% to 80%, with some stores even offering a staggering 90% off or buy-two-get-one deals.

This store takes the cake with a jaw-dropping 90% discount, and there’s more: buy five items and get an extra 10% off, or buy seven and enjoy a massive 15% discount!

Fashion retailers are joining the Black Friday frenzy, offering incredible deals to clear out their summer inventory as the seasons change. It’s a strategic move to stimulate consumer spending ahead of the festive season, from now until Tet.

According to some sellers, offering discounts during this period is almost mandatory to stay competitive and attract shoppers.

One store even hired a mascot to promote its sale with the catchy slogan, “Sale đỉnh nóc kịch trần bay phất phá»›i.” The prices are unbelievably low, starting at just 99,000 VND per item.

Mr. Long, a clothing store owner in Ha Dong district, shared that Black Friday is the perfect opportunity to clear out summer inventory and make room for the new fall-winter collection. It’s also a great time to stimulate consumer spending ahead of the festive season, from now until Tet. “This is the time when we can achieve the highest sales of the year. If we don’t offer promotions and discounts, our store will quickly be left behind,” he added.

The Black Friday fever has spread to shopping malls as well, with some stores offering discounts of up to 90%.

At Aeon mall Ha Dong, various stalls are offering irresistible Black Friday deals.

The discounts are hard to resist, with some stores offering up to 80% off on sportswear and other items.

Even the lowest discounts are impressive, ranging from 40% to 50%.

Many shoppers have already taken advantage of the early bird specials, knowing that the discounts are usually substantial during this period.

It’s not just fashion that’s on sale—famous sportswear brands like Nike, Adidas, and Li-Ning are also offering incredible discounts of up to 80% off, making it the perfect opportunity to snag some designer items at a fraction of the cost.

For example, a pair of Li-Ning shoes is now available for just a few hundred thousand dong, a whopping 70% discount.

A store employee shared that they usually start their Black Friday promotions a week earlier, but this year, they decided to skip the Singles’ Day sales on November 11 and focus solely on Black Friday. “Due to economic challenges, consumers are still cautious about spending. So, we decided to forego smaller holidays and concentrate on more significant events like Black Friday and Tet, which are more popular among shoppers,” they explained.

Home appliances and electronics are also up for grabs at half price, attracting many excited shoppers looking for a bargain.
