New Chairman of DIG Increases His Stake to Nearly 12% After Inheriting Over 11 Million Shares
Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DIC Corp (HOSE: DIG), has announced that he received over 11 million shares out of the nearly 20.8 million shares inherited (equivalent to 53%) from the late Chairman, Nguyen Thien Tuan.
The transfer did not go through the trading system at the Stock Exchange. The acquisition of these shares took place between October 21 and November 19, 2024. As a result, Mr. Cuong’s ownership in DIG increased from 10.16% to 11.96%, equivalent to nearly 73 million shares.
Mr. Cuong stated that the reason he couldn’t accept the entire inheritance of nearly 20.8 million shares was due to ongoing transfer procedures with relevant authorities. This is the second time Mr. Doan has registered to buy AMP shares this year, with the first attempt being to purchase nearly 1.8 million shares in early October, which was also unsuccessful due to unfavorable market conditions.
