Blooloop.com is a renowned website among experts in reviewing tourist destinations globally. According to the website, the list of the top 15 zoos and aquariums in Asia is based on criteria that attract customers, including visitor numbers, customer reviews, animal welfare conditions, and nature conservation efforts.

Vinpearl Safari is described as a destination spanning over 380 hectares, housing more than 4,500 individuals from 200 species, including rare and endangered animals such as Bengal tigers, African lions, and white rhinos.

“The largest wildlife conservation park in Vietnam is operated by Vingroup. The group also owns three VinWonders theme parks, with the Phu Quoc location being the largest in Southeast Asia,” Blooloop emphasized.

Opened in 2015, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc was the first zoo in Vietnam to receive certification from the Southeast Asian Zoos Association (SEAZA) for its conservation and animal welfare improvement efforts. In 2024, the wild animal park was also recognized by the Worldkings World Records Union as the “Safari on the island with the most diverse species and the largest number of animal individuals in the world.”

Nestled in the pristine forest of Northern Phu Quoc Island, the safari park offers a natural environment, infrastructure, and a team of experts to ensure that wild animals can be conserved, breed, form herds, and maintain their natural instincts. The animals are raised according to international standards, ensuring proximity to their natural habitat. Since the beginning of 2023, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc has welcomed over 400 newborn animals, including nearly 70 individuals from rare species such as silver langurs, golden deer, sambar deer, striped mongoose, black-shanked douc langurs, Arabian oryx, addax, white rhinos, Bengal tigers, and bonobos.

With sustainable tourism on the rise globally, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc has become an iconic destination, attracting international visitors to the island. Its unique green experiences, such as “locking people and releasing animals” and exploring nature at night with Night Safari, have left a lasting impression on tourists. Especially, Vinpearl Safari has won the hearts of families with young children, offering interactive and immersive experiences in nature, not only entertaining but also educating and fostering a love for the animal kingdom.

Alongside Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, the list features several renowned and reputable zoos and aquariums in the region, including Singapore Zoo, Yokohama Zoological Gardens (Japan), Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, and S.E.A. Aquarium (Singapore). All of these zoos and aquariums are members of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), representing over 400 facilities and global alliances of regional associations, national federations, and organizations.

Over the past decade, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc has not only established itself as a beloved tourist attraction for millions of visitors but also as a nurturing and conservation home for thousands of wild animals from around the world.
