According to the Project Management Board for Dong Nai’s transport infrastructure projects, both routes intersect with Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 3, providing convenient access to Long Thanh International Airport.

The 25B provincial road, with a length of over 9.2 km, passes through Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts. The project has a total investment of nearly VND 1,500 billion. According to the authorities of Nhon Trach district, the locality has about 80% of the cleared land. For the remaining area, the leaders of Nhon Trach and Long Thanh districts commit to complete land clearance and hand over the site to the contractor as scheduled.

Mr. Nguyen Linh, Deputy Director of the Project Management Board, said that the project is currently in the bidding process and is expected to be inaugurated in December 2024. The project to upgrade and expand the 25C provincial road will involve the construction of a new 2-km-long road with a total investment of over VND 647 billion. The Project Management Board is coordinating with local authorities to expedite related procedures.

At the beginning of 2024, the People’s Committee of Nhon Trach district held a groundbreaking ceremony for the upgrading and expansion of several sections of these two routes. Specifically, for the 25B road project, the section from Quach Thi Trang Street to the center of Nhon Trach will be widened. This section is approximately 3.8 km long, with a total investment of about VND 639 billion and an implementation period of 730 days. In terms of investment scale, the 3-km section from the beginning of the route to Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 3 will have an 80-meter road width. The remaining 800-meter section will have a road width of 51 meters. Meanwhile, the 25C road project, from Hung Vuong Street (DT 19) to Nguyen Huu Canh Street, with a length of 6.4 km, will be newly constructed with a road width of 61 meters.

Both the 25B and 25C roads are vital transport arteries, connecting Nhon Trach with Ho Chi Minh City, National Highway 51, Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway, Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 3, and Long Thanh International Airport. These roads are also the preferred choice for many travelers when moving from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai and Ba Ria – Vung Tau provinces.

It is anticipated that once Long Thanh International Airport becomes operational, traffic volume on these routes will surge, underscoring the significance of investing in transport infrastructure upgrades. The expansion and improvement of the 25B and 25C provincial roads will positively impact the inter-regional connectivity. In addition to addressing transportation needs, these roads are also expected to bring new opportunities for the real estate market in Nhon Trach in the near future. There are high expectations that these roads will attract investments and boost the value of local real estate in the area.
