The Quang Da Bridge project connects Hoa Khuong ward, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city with Dien Tien ward, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province. During the inspection, the representative of the contractor consortium shared that the project has completed 53% of the contract value so far. The total disbursed amount for the project has reached VND 121 billion.

The project aims to be completed by the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 – March 29, 2025) and to commemorate the Party Congresses at all levels for the term 2025 – 2030. It is expected that the Quang Da Bridge and the approach road will be completed by March 2025.

The entire bridge is scheduled to be joined together before March 10, 2025, and technically opened to traffic before March 29, 2025. By that time, the project is expected to have completed 95% of the contract value.

Mr. Phan Van Ton, Chairman of Hoa Vang District People’s Committee, said that the construction progress has basically met the requirements, but the project has faced some obstacles in site clearance.

While the files within the clearance area have been signed for land handover, there are still two outstanding files that need to be completed. Additionally, there are 16 unresolved files along the National Highway 14B that need to be addressed.

The Hoa Vang District Site Clearance Council is focusing on resolving these issues to ensure the technical opening of the road as planned.

Speaking at the inspection, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee, stated that this project symbolizes the close relationship between the two localities. It is not only a key project but also a vivid demonstration of cooperation and sustainable regional linkage.

“The investment of the budget from one locality to another in this project is noteworthy and shows a sense of collective responsibility for comprehensive development,” emphasized Mr. Nguyen Van Quang.

According to the Da Nang Party Chief, this project is not just a transportation infrastructure but also a testament to the bond between Da Nang and Quang Nam, promising to boost socio-economic development and strengthen the relationship between the two localities.

The Quang Da Bridge and its approach road project was commenced in December 2023 with a total investment of VND 274 billion. The project is funded by Da Nang City and constructed by the joint venture of Xuan Quang Construction Joint Stock Company and Binh Dinh Transportation Infrastructure Design and Construction Joint Stock Company.
