The images featured in the July 2025 Industrial Property Gazette suggest that this is an electric SUV/Crossover with a design reminiscent of the current VF 6 model. However, this mysterious vehicle bears a striking resemblance to the VinFast VF 7 in terms of its grille, front and rear turn signal design.

Other design elements such as the window shape, curved window trim, roof spoiler, side cladding, and front/rear LED light bars remain consistent with the current VF 6. It is plausible that this new model could be an updated version of the VinFast VF 6, the all-electric compact SUV launched in mid-2023.

An intriguing revelation from the July 2025 industrial property registration is that the vehicle’s design was penned by a Vietnamese national, Mr. Vu Viet Tuan, who is also the designer of the MPV Limo Green.

Nonetheless, this is merely a design patent application for the vehicle. The actual design, specifications, official name, and launch date remain unknown as VinFast has not released any statements regarding this intriguing new model.

Turning our attention to the current VF 6, it is one of the three pillars contributing to VinFast’s growth in 2025, alongside the VF 3 and VF 5. During the first half of the year, a total of 8,552 units of this electric SUV were delivered to customers, leading the B-segment SUV market and ranking third in the overall market.

The VinFast VF 6 is currently offered in Vietnam with two variants: Eco and Plus. The respective price tags are VND 689 million and VND 749 million.

The Eco version delivers 174 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, while the Plus variant offers enhanced performance with 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. Both versions share a 59.6 kWh battery, providing a range of approximately 460-480 km on a single charge.
