The adorable Honda N-One e: concept once captivated audiences at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Now, the production version of this tiny electric vehicle has officially launched in Japan.

The N-One e: is a mini electric vehicle with a boxy design, a tall roof, and a friendly robot-like front fascia. Compared to the concept showcased at Goodwood, the production N-One e: in Japan forgoes the wheel arch cladding for a slightly less rugged appearance.
The interior of the N-One is simple yet functional. It features an array of physical buttons and knobs for audio volume control, as well as a gear selector on the dashboard. A convenient storage compartment sits just below the touchscreen, providing a perfect spot for your phone near the charging port. The rear seats can be folded flat in a 50:50 ratio, offering added flexibility for cargo space.

Honda has not disclosed many technical specifications, but it is likely that the vehicle’s length is under 3,400 mm, and the electric motor’s output is less than 63 horsepower.
The N-One e:’s electrical system is expected to be shared with the N-Van e:, introduced last year. According to Honda, the N-Van e: can travel up to 245 kilometers on a single charge, which is enough to get you from Hanoi to the northern province of Nghe An. The N-One e: is anticipated to offer a slightly higher range. The N-Van supports DC fast charging at 50 kW, allowing a full charge in around 30 minutes, despite the relatively slow charging speed.
One of the most remarkable features is Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, enabling owners to use the N-One as a power source for their homes during power outages or to charge other devices such as electric bicycles or laptops.

To utilize the V2L feature, owners will need to purchase a converter from Honda’s accessory catalog. This catalog also includes an LED indicator for the dashboard that displays the battery level and a sports accessory kit with two sporty stripes running along the vehicle’s sides.
The Honda N-One e: will go on sale in Japan starting September 2025 and is expected to make an appearance at the IAA in Munich, Germany, the same month.
