Despite the rainy season in the Mekong Delta, investors have been resolute in their efforts to ensure timely progress. They have devised detailed plans and rigorously supervised contractors to expedite construction, even resorting to working in three shifts to make up for any delays.
The Ministry of Construction has been actively monitoring the situation on the ground, urging contractors to intensify their resources, equipment, and manpower to meet the deadlines for these vital projects.
In addition to the ongoing projects, there are also three upcoming investments in the works: the Ca Mau – Dat Mui Expressway, which is finalizing procedures for commencement in August 2025; the road connecting to Hon Khoai Port, expected to break ground in August 2025; and the Hon Khoai Port project, currently in the investment completion stage.
These transport infrastructure projects are poised to reduce travel time, lower logistics costs, and facilitate trade upon their completion. They will also serve as a catalyst for socioeconomic development, attracting investment and improving the lives of the region’s residents.
