Expressing Gratitude Through Concrete Actions

Every July, the Vietnamese nation comes together to honor and remember those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and freedom. Over 1.2 million soldiers lost their lives in just two resistance wars, with approximately 180,000 martyrs still missing and 600,000 graves unidentified. Millions of families of these fallen soldiers, including mothers, wives, and siblings, were left forever changed.

We, the people of Vietnam, understand that each moment of peace we enjoy today comes at a tremendous cost—the youth and blood of countless generations before us.

Kingsport, a leading Vietnamese healthcare equipment provider, shares this understanding. During the July commemoration period, Kingsport partnered with various organizations to express gratitude and give back. They participated in artistic exchanges, such as the “Country Acknowledgement” program, and contributed to events like “Live Forever with the Country.” Beyond words of appreciation, Kingsport presented 500 blood pressure monitors and 20 wheelchairs to Vietnamese heroic mothers, wounded soldiers, and families with special circumstances. These actions embody Kingsport’s commitment to honoring those who fought for peace and national independence.

Continuing the Journey Towards a Healthier Vietnam

With a target to donate 50,000 medical devices in 2025, the “Healthy Vietnam” campaign has been spreading across the country. Kingsport aims to bring healthcare equipment and solutions to underprivileged communities, reaching remote areas and grassroots healthcare facilities.

So far this year, Kingsport has organized gift-giving events in Thai Nguyen, Quang Tri, Hanoi, and numerous other provinces. The campaign has even extended beyond Vietnam’s borders, reaching Laos on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 48th anniversary of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Treaty. Hundreds of wheelchairs, walking frames, and blood pressure monitors were presented to people in Attapeu, Sekong, Salavan, and Champasak.

In the first seven months of the year, over 5,000 medical devices were directly handed to those in need, fostering sharing and connection while improving access to modern healthcare equipment. The “Healthy Vietnam” campaign and July’s commemorative activities not only express gratitude to past generations but also advance Kingsport’s mission of building a healthier community, leaving no one behind.
