The total area retrieved is 89.1 hectares, with the majority (88 hectares) belonging to Diên Lạc and the remaining 1.1 hectares located in Diên Thạnh (in the former Diên Khánh District). Local authorities require organizations, households, and individuals with land and assets in the cleared area to comply with the land retrieval policy and strictly prohibit any acts of land transfer, plot separation, construction of works, housing, planting, or altering the land status within the project’s scope.

The project was approved by the People’s Committee of Khánh Hòa Province in late 2023, with a total investment of over VND 2,000 billion. The implementation period is expected to last six years, with the first 1.5 years focusing on completing legal procedures related to land and investment to obtain a construction permit. The subsequent 4.5 years will be dedicated to construction and the commissioning of the project.

In May 2024, VCN Investment Joint Stock Company was officially approved by the People’s Committee of Khánh Hòa Province as the investor for the Diên Khánh Administrative Urban Area project.

Headquartered in Phước Hải Ward, Nha Trang City, Khánh Hòa Province, VCN is known for its large-scale real estate developments in the region, including prominent urban and industrial projects such as VCN Phước Hải (30 hectares, over 1,000 apartments), VCN Phước Long (18 hectares, 300 apartments), VCN Phước Long 2 (13.8 hectares, 590 apartments), Vĩnh Điềm Trung Urban Area (37 hectares, nearly 2,500 apartments), Diên Phú VCN Industrial Park (25 hectares), VCN Eco-Urban Area (71.5 hectares), VCN Tower (18 floors), and VCN Building (9 floors).
