On August 12, Mr. Huynh Le Xuan Bich, Deputy Director of the Dak Lak Department of Health, confirmed that the department had invited seven companies related to the remaining unapproved and unsettled packages of the Tay Nguyen General Hospital project.

There are nine packages remaining in the Tay Nguyen General Hospital project that have not been settled.
The unsettled packages include: Inpatient Treatment House; construction and installation of accompanying medical gas system equipment; construction of pipeline, reservoir, and peripheral cable network; technical and professional house; wastewater and waste treatment plant; parking lot, warehouse, mortuary, and automobile workshop.
Therefore, the Department of Health invited these companies to provide related documents. The invited companies include: Tien Thinh Construction Limited Company, Dak Lak Construction Joint Stock Company, Trong Hieu Trading Services Limited Company, Nam Son Construction Company (all based in Dak Lak); Trang An Technology and Equipment Joint Stock Company, Tien Bo Quoc Te Joint Stock Company, and the Corporation for Investment and Development of Housing and Urban Areas of the Ministry of Defense (all based in Hanoi).
The Tay Nguyen General Hospital project was initiated in 2010 and inaugurated in 2019. With a total investment of nearly VND 1,100 billion, the project was divided into 19 packages. Up to now, 9 out of 19 packages have been constructed and put into use, but the settlement procedures have not been completed.
According to the Department of Health, the reason for the unsettled packages is that in 2019, Mr. DMC (Head of the Project Management Board of the Tay Nguyen General Hospital, under the Department of Health) directly managed, used, and stored the project documents and then resigned.
Before leaving, Mr. C. handed over the original status of the above-mentioned package dossiers to the Planning – Finance Department of the Department of Health. In March this year, the head of the Planning – Finance Department and the Chief Accountant of the Department of Health retired and handed over the original status, including documents and vouchers related to the Tay Nguyen General Hospital project.
However, upon review, the Department of Health found that the dossier inventory and conditions for the settlement of the packages were incomplete. The department requested the individuals to provide additional documents, but they could not due to the loss of records.
