On this occasion, Crystal Holidays JSC (a member of Everland Group) also launched a tourism route named “The Beauty of Van Don,” which includes three lines: 1. Ao Tien Port – Tay Hoi Island – Lucky Cat Island – Sen Island – Nha Tro Cave; 2. Ao Tien Port – Phat Co Cave – Ngoc Trai (Da Den Island) farming area – Lao Vong Embankment – Dua Island (Dù Island) – Minh Chau Island; 3. Ao Tien Port – Cai De Cave – Cai Lim Cave. These are also the tourist routes of Ha Long Bay that Quang Ninh Province officially announced on March 29.
The “White Swans” of the Sea
It is known that Crystal Holidays 991 and Crystal Holidays 992 are the first two tourist ships in the project to develop a fleet of luxury tourist ships of Everland Group, including day and overnight ships to exploit tourist routes to visit Ha Long Bay and the routes connecting Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay (Haiphong).
The pair of tourist ships, Crystal Holidays 991 and 992, with a capacity of 99 seats each, are currently the largest and most modern day tourist ships in Van Don. Each ship is designed with three floors, each with a separate function. The first floor is the main passenger cabin, spacious and airy, with a panoramic view of Ha Long Bay. The back of the ship has a lowered floor to expand and optimize the public space for passengers. The second floor is for VIP passengers and features luxurious interiors like a yacht, complete with an outdoor pool and sundeck. The third floor is an open-air space with lounge chairs, tea and coffee tables, where passengers can enjoy their meals while taking in the scenery. The fire protection system, rescue boats, life jackets, and warning and rescue systems on the ships are all designed and equipped to the highest safety standards.
The ships also feature a 5-star restaurant with a buffet or À la Carte menu offering a variety of Asian and European dishes, prepared and served by professional hotel chefs. In addition, the restaurant serves fresh seafood from the famous Van Don seafood hub, prepared either in the traditional local style or according to the passengers’ preferences.

The pair of luxury tourist ships, Crystal Holidays 991 and 992, are equipped with modern interiors, luxurious services, and facilities for passengers’ comfort.
The unique feature of the Crystal Holidays 991 and 992 tourist ships is their yacht-like design, with a strong yet elegant appearance and luxurious interiors comparable to overnight cruises. With their striking white paint contrasting the blue sea, the pair of ships look both elegant and magnificent like white swans gracefully cruising the sea. Additionally, there are numerous vantage points on board for passengers to comfortably check in and capture memorable moments of the majestic Ha Long Bay.
Immediately after the inauguration, the Crystal Holidays 991 and 992 tourist ships will officially serve passengers on the tours and routes of Crystal Holidays’ “The Beauty of Van Don” itinerary, departing daily. Each bay tour will last from four to six hours, depending on the choice. Passengers will be served lunch on board and can enjoy various other services and entertainment activities.
Pieces of the Van Don Tourism Ecosystem
The inauguration of the two luxury tourist ships, Crystal Holidays 991 and 992, and the “The Beauty of Van Don” tourism route are important pieces in the closed tourism ecosystem that Everland Group and Crystal Holidays are striving to create in Van Don, including accommodations, travel, transportation, and tourism services.
Everland Group is expediting the construction and early operation of the Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don tourism, resort, and entertainment complex to address the shortage of 5-star hotels and international-standard restaurants in Van Don. Strategically located on two fronts overlooking Ha Long Bay, the Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don complex consists of five towers ranging from 28 to 34 floors, featuring a modern design with 2,274 tourism apartments and a 5-star hotel, as well as an international convention center with a capacity of 1,500 seats. It fulfills all the needs of tourists, from accommodation and relaxation to conferences, shopping, entertainment, and cuisine. Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don is likened to a globally connected city, offering a global lifestyle and a space for living and working, connecting with nature and the global pulse. It is a space where owners can enjoy world-class utilities within the same complex.

The Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don project, set to open in Q3 2025, will be a significant boost for Van Don’s tourism industry.
Crystal Holidays JSC is also actively partnering with leading domestic and international travel agencies to promote the Van Don tourism brand. On February 20, 2025, Crystal Holidays signed a strategic cooperation agreement with leading international travel agencies, including H&T Travel (Taiwan, China), Astar Travel (China), Century Travel & Marketing (South Korea), Fantasea Travel, and Luxury Tour (Vietnam), to bring inbound tourists to Van Don and Ha Long Bay. Accordingly, the partners will collaborate with Crystal Holidays in promoting Van Don and Ha Long Bay to the world, with a focus on the Northeast Asian market, aiming to attract inbound tourists to Van Don and Ha Long Bay in the summer of 2025.
The aggressive investment in the 5-star hotel complex, the launch of the luxury tourist fleet, and the inauguration of the “The Beauty of Van Don” tourism route demonstrate Everland Group’s commitment to developing a comprehensive tourism and service ecosystem in Van Don. They are determined to work with local authorities to make Van Don an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists in the near future.
