A former manager working for Russian automotive brand Lada, under AvtoVAZ, has shared a series of images of the brand’s cars that have arrived in Vietnam.

Earlier in January 2025, the same individual shared images of the cars being transported to Vietnam. According to the source, the initial plan was to launch these Lada models around May 2025. However, it seems the schedule has been pushed back as it is already May.
Back in January, the informant shared that the shipment to Vietnam included 4 models: Lada Niva, Lada Niva Travel, Lada Vesta, and Lada Granta. These models belong to the sedan, wagon, and small urban SUV segments. The expected price for the sedan model starts at VND 360 million, while the SUV is priced from VND 390 million.

The Lada Granta is the brand’s smallest sedan, measuring 4,260 mm in length and 1,700 mm in width. To put it into perspective, its dimensions are similar to the Mitsubishi Attrage, a subcompact sedan measuring 4,305 mm in length and 1,670 mm in width.

The Lada Vesta is a larger sedan model, measuring 4,410 mm in length and 1,764 mm in width, still within the subcompact sedan segment. Compared to the Granta, the Vesta boasts a more modern design and a more upscale interior. Notably, the Vesta models shipped to Vietnam include the wagon body style.

The Lada Niva is a 2-door SUV with a design reminiscent of the Suzuki Jimny. With dimensions of 3,740 mm in length and 1,680 mm in width, it is classified as a hatchback but utilizes an SUV-style chassis, offering a high ground clearance and a 4-wheel drive system. The Niva is also geared towards off-road capabilities, much like the Jimny.

The Lada Niva Travel is considered the brand’s most premium offering. It is a 5-door SUV with dimensions of 4,046 mm in length and 1,800 mm in width. Compared to the standard Niva, the Niva Travel features a more modern and substantial design, making it suitable for multipurpose and family use.
