The Hanoi Construction Department has announced the sale price of a social housing project in Dong Anh district (formerly Uy No, Dong Anh district).
This project, developed by the 319 Corporation under the Ministry of Defense, was initiated late last year. The social housing complex comprises four 9-story buildings, one basement, and one tum.
A total of 419 apartments are for sale, along with 47 rental units. The apartments range from 40 to 76.6 square meters in size. According to the Hanoi Construction Department, the selling price of social housing in this project is approximately VND 20.6 million per square meter, including VAT but excluding maintenance fees of over VND 392,000 per square meter.

With a unit price of VND 20.6 million per square meter, the smallest apartment in the Uy No social housing project starts at VND 824 million. The largest unit is valued at approximately VND 1.57 billion.
The social housing complex in Uy No, Dong Anh is expected to be completed and handed over in the fourth quarter of 2026. Applications for purchasing or renting apartments in this project may be accepted starting this quarter.
Hanoi’s supply of social housing is recovering, but product prices are on the rise. Since the end of last year, many social housing projects in the capital have been initiated. This year, the city plans to complete six projects in the outlying areas.
According to a report by the Ministry of Construction, in the first seven months of 2025, the number of social housing projects completed, initiated, or approved for investment reached 59.6% of the target set in the proposal to invest in one million social housing units.
Specifically, across the country, 692 social housing projects have been implemented, comprising 633,559 units. Of these, 422 projects have been approved for investment with a scale of 418,220 units; 124 projects have been initiated with a scale of 112,952 units; and 146 projects have been completed, providing 102,387 units.
In the second quarter of 2025, 16 social housing projects were licensed and initiated, offering 9,544 units. Additionally, 32 projects were completed during this period, providing approximately 26,528 units.
According to the proposal to invest in one million social housing units, Hanoi is assigned to develop 56,200 units by the end of 2030, the highest target in the country. Specifically, in 2025, the capital city is expected to complete 4,670 units.
