In the bustling era of the 4.0 revolution, as people get caught up in the tech-driven lifestyle and work pressures, “home” remains a sanctuary where one can find peace and freedom.

Soft curves bring fluidity to the living space.

Large windows welcome natural light into the apartment.
From the initial project survey, the architect noticed that the apartment was originally divided by blocking walls, despite having large windows. This made the rooms feel stuffy and more cramped than their actual size. The solution was to break down the walls between common areas, creating an open-plan layout where light could travel freely and activities became more connected.

A soft, curved archway defines the kitchen area without blocking light or views.
A defining feature throughout the design is the use of soft curves instead of harsh angles. The kitchen stands out with its gentle arched frame, combined with a thin black metal line running along the top, creating a “virtual” divider between the living room and kitchen while maintaining an open feel. The minimalist philosophy is also reflected in the limited color palette, with a harmonious contrast of black and white on furniture surfaces, adding depth and flexibility to the space.

The removal of old partitions creates a spacious and airy atmosphere.

A small dining area sits adjacent to the kitchen.

Soft, warm lighting creates a cozy ambiance in the evening.
Lighting is skillfully handled to evoke different moods. Natural light during the day brings a sense of clarity and openness, while soft, warm lighting in the evening casts a layer of warmth and intimacy over the apartment, inducing a sense of tranquility. Each material surface, from walls to wood and metal, is utilized to create varying reflective effects, turning every moment of the day into a delightful visual experience.

The living room, next to a small balcony, offers a relaxing retreat.

A cozy bedroom with a soft, neutral palette.
The apartment evokes a sense of enjoyment, not just from its amenities but also from its subtle nuances. It not only meets functional needs but also inspires emotions and encourages a proactive lifestyle, letting go of the unnecessary. The design emphasizes minimalism, soft curves, and human connection, making the apartment not just a dwelling but a poetic haven in the heart of the city.
