On May 13, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) announced a list of outstanding products, solutions, and initiatives in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. These have been evaluated, selected, and officially published on the portal at nq57.mst.gov.vn.
The portal marks a new step toward realizing the orientation of promoting the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. It is designed with a completely online processing procedure, providing a platform that supports the reception, evaluation, and publication of initiatives in an open and transparent manner.
The portal serves as a connector between organizations and individuals with creative ideas and those in need of application or investment. Here, users can submit proposals for products and solutions to be considered and supported or seek collaboration partners.
To ensure transparency and efficiency, MoST has issued templates and configurations on the portal, corresponding to different groups of products and solutions. Additionally, an Evaluation Council, along with specific procedures, regulations, and evaluation criteria, has been established to review the submissions.
So far, the portal has received 426 submissions, out of which 71 useful products and solutions have been published. Currently, 90 other products and solutions are being evaluated by the MoST Evaluation Council. Notably, 32 new products and solutions will be announced today, marking a significant milestone in the portal’s development journey.
The portal is not just a receiver of products and solutions but also a platform that facilitates organizations and individuals with innovative thinking to register their scientific and technological initiatives.
MoST is committed to ensuring that the processes of receiving, reviewing, selecting, and supporting the implementation of initiatives are conducted openly, transparently, and in compliance with the law. Intellectual property rights and authorship rights of organizations and individuals are fully protected throughout the process.
The portal serves three main groups of users. Firstly, scientists, organizations, and individuals with initiatives who aim to seek support in publishing, connecting, and commercializing their products. Secondly, state agencies and businesses seeking innovative solutions to improve their operational efficiency. Lastly, investment funds and innovation support organizations that are potential idea seekers, looking to accompany, sponsor, or invest in development.
The portal is not just a connector but also a bridge that turns creative ideas into reality, contributing to the building of a national innovation ecosystem.
More than 10 ideas and initiatives uploaded to the portal by scientists, organizations, and individuals have been transferred by MoST to competent authorities for research and resolution.
To enhance its effectiveness, the portal will continue to expand with new functions, with a focus on intellectual property. The goal is to update domestic inventions and patents comprehensively, integrate domestic and foreign data queries, and support registration, valuation, and commercialization of intellectual property assets.
Additionally, the ministry encourages universities, research institutes, and businesses to submit their potential initiatives and technologies to the portal. This will not only help spread the value of their ideas but also create opportunities to connect with partners, investors, or application units.
With the orientation of becoming an open ecosystem for innovation, Portal 57 aims to transform initiatives from mere ideas into practical solutions, contributing to overall development.
