The National Exhibition and Convention Center is a key national project and is among the top 10 largest exhibition centers in the world. With a total scale of 900,000 square meters, it is expected to be an international destination for leading global trade events and exhibitions and a new development symbol of the capital.

The construction began on August 30, 2024, and the site was handed over on June 27, 2025 – just under 10 months later, which is 15 months ahead of schedule. This construction speed is unprecedented given the technical challenges and the complexity of the giant dome structure made of ultra-long and ultra-heavy steel.

As the investor and general contractor, Vingroup maximized all resources, from proactively designing, coordinating human resources, machinery, and materials to ensuring the supply chain and coordinating subcontractors.

Specifically, during the construction, Vingroup mobilized hundreds of subcontractors, with a peak of about 3,000 workers and engineers on-site; 800 – 1000 pieces of equipment were mobilized from many localities, including cranes with a capacity of 300 – 500 tons and ultra-long and ultra-heavy vehicles. The construction site also operated at maximum intensity, with 3 shifts working non-stop 24/7 to optimize every minute and achieve an exceptional construction pace, shortening the construction time by 60%.

In parallel with harmoniously addressing the challenges of complex design, large structural system, and completion schedule, Vingroup closely monitored each item, conducted strict inspections, and supervised to ensure the safety, quality, and sustainability of the project.

The National Exhibition and Convention Center is a world-class exhibition complex in terms of scale and stature. The highlight is the Kim Quy Exhibition House – the largest circular exhibition hall in the world with an area of approximately 130,000 square meters and a central height of 56 meters.

Along with the Kim Quy Exhibition House, Vingroup has also created a diverse ecosystem of exhibition spaces with 4 outdoor arenas (East, West, South, and North). With its vast space, the National Exhibition and Convention Center can accommodate hundreds of thousands of people outdoors and thousands indoors. It not only ensures capacity for major exhibitions but is also ready for large-scale events such as music festivals, national holidays, and technology demonstrations, meeting the strictest standards of international organizers. It also opens up a completely new approach to the MICE industry in Vietnam.
