Vietnam Container JSC (Viconship, code VSC on HoSE) has just reported its purchase of over 1 million HAH shares of Haian Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company.
On May 13, Viconship bought 457,600 HAH shares, and on May 14, it purchased an additional 543,400 shares. After the transaction, Viconship’s ownership increased from 12.09 million shares (9.31%) to 13.09 million shares (10.08% of HAH’s charter capital).
In addition, two legal entities related to Viconship also hold HAH shares. These are Green Logistics Center One Member Limited Company, which owns 1.05 million HAH shares, equivalent to 0.815%, and Green Port Service One Member Limited Company, which holds 933,700 shares, or 0.719% of HAH’s capital.
The total ownership percentage of the Viconship group at Haian Stevedoring is 11.61% of the charter capital.
Previously, on April 18, Viconship purchased an additional 311,000 HAH shares, followed by purchases of 1,464,900 shares on April 22, 386,000 shares on April 29, 2,280,000 shares on May 5, and 2,413,700 shares from May 7 to 12.

In other news, Viconship held its 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 25 in Quang Ninh. The meeting approved a revenue plan of VND 2,790 billion for 2025, unchanged from the previous plan, while the profit-before-tax target was adjusted upward by 32% to VND 400 billion. The expected dividend ratio for 2025 is 10%.
Viconship proposed a dividend payout ratio of 8% for 2024, including 5% in cash and 3% in shares, replacing the initial plan of 7.5% entirely in shares. With nearly 300 million shares currently in circulation, the company expects to spend about VND 150 billion on cash dividends and issue nearly 9 million new shares to shareholders.
Furthermore, Viconship will issue bonus shares from equity capital with a ratio of 22% (shareholders owning 100 shares will receive 22 new shares). The total number of shares to be issued is expected to be nearly 65.9 million. The issuance is planned for the second and third quarters of 2025, pending SSC approval. If all issuances are completed, Viconship’s charter capital will increase to VND 3,744 billion.
