Mitsubishi Indonesia has unveiled the 2025 updated versions of the Xpander and Xpander Cross, two of its popular models in the region. This upgrade is a strategic move to maintain the competitiveness of these best-selling vehicles before their planned full model change in the coming years, as hinted at earlier this week.

In terms of design, both the Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross have undergone exterior revisions to set them apart from their current counterparts.
The standard Xpander features a simplified grille with only vertical air intakes below, improved LED fog lamps (headlights remain unchanged), and new 17-inch alloy wheels for a more elegant and refined look. Minor tweaks have been made to the rear bumper.

Moving inside, the cabin remains largely unchanged but has received some upgrades compared to the previous Indonesian-spec model. The central display has been upgraded to a 10-inch unit compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The instrument cluster has been replaced with an 8-inch TFT screen similar to the Xforce.
The safety and convenience features of the vehicles remain unchanged. Additionally, the number of airbags has been increased to six, and a front camera has been added to the 360-degree camera system. This aids in enhancing stability when cornering by distributing braking force to the front wheels.

On the other hand, the Xpander Cross also receives exterior updates but takes on a more rugged appearance. The new grille design resembles that of its sibling, the Xforce. The headlights are now darkened, and the front bumper has a more muscular look. The LED lighting has been extended to the entire front end, and the two-tone alloy wheels, along with the revised rear bumper, are the main changes to the Xpander Cross for 2025.

The interior of the Xpander Cross 2025, as presented in Indonesia, retains the bold black and red theme. The upgrades implemented on the Xpander are also present in the Cross, and it additionally benefits from synthetic leather upholstery (as opposed to fabric in the standard Xpander for this market).

In terms of powertrain, both vehicles continue to offer the current 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, producing a maximum of 105 horsepower and 141 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options remain either a CVT or a five-speed manual, paired with front-wheel drive.
Mitsubishi Indonesia has announced the pricing for both vehicles, with the 2025 Mitsubishi Xpander starting at 270.1 million IDR (approximately 424.6 million VND) and the 2025 Xpander Cross from 338 million IDR (roughly 531.4 million VND).
