From August 1st to August 10th, a total of 93 cases of traffic violations involving cars and motorcycles were recorded in the province. The most common offenses were failure to comply with traffic light signals and not wearing helmets while riding motorcycles or electric bikes.

According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, within 10 days from the date of the violation, the Traffic Police Department will send a notification to the vehicle owner, organization, or individual involved in the administrative violation, informing them of the incident and requesting their cooperation in resolving the matter according to regulations.
Within 20 days from the date of notification, information about the violation will be published on the website of the Traffic Police Department. To check for violations through the VneTraffic app, citizens can follow these steps:
Step 1: Download and install the VNeTraffic app on your phone from the App Store or CH Play.
Step 2: Log in to your account
If you don’t have an account, you can register by following these steps: Choose to register, then scan the QR code in the upper right corner of the CCCD card. Verify your information, enter your phone number, and click “Confirm”. The system will then send an OTP to your phone, which you need to enter along with setting a password.
Step 3: To check for personal traffic violations, select the “Violation Inquiry” section.
Step 4: Enter the license plate number of the vehicle you want to inquire about and click “Check”
The Thanh Hoa Provincial Police also noted that within 30 days from the date of the violation, the authorities request that the vehicle owner, organization, or individual involved in the administrative violation come to the one-door service department of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police (at No. 1 Do Huy Cu, Hac Thanh Ward, Thanh Hoa Province) or the local police headquarters (where the violator resides) to resolve the case.
If the above time limit expires and the vehicle owner, organization, or individual involved in the administrative violation does not come to resolve the case, or if the Traffic Police Department has not received notification of the resolution or handling of the case, a notification of the traffic violation will be sent to the vehicle inspection agency.
