During a recent investment promotion session with the People’s Committee of Can Tho city, Alphanam Group expressed its interest in researching and implementing several key projects in the area.

Prior to the merger of Hau Giang province into Can Tho city, the group had proposed to invest in two projects in Chau Thanh district, including the new Mai Dam River urban area (140 hectares) and the 927C urban area (657 hectares).

Currently, these two projects have detailed planning at a 1/500 scale and have been included in the housing development program but do not yet meet the conditions for bidding to select investors according to the 2024 Land Law.

In addition, Alphanam is also interested in proposing three new projects: an apartment and hotel complex on Le Loi Street, Cai Khe Ward (6.2 hectares); a new urban area on both sides of Vo Van Kiet Street (Zone 1), Long Tuyen Ward (270 hectares); and social housing in the An Binh Ward resettlement area – Component 2 (1.5 hectares).

The Can Tho city authorities requested that the departments and the People’s Committees of the wards and communes provide consultancy and support to the enterprise in terms of procedures for approving investment policies and providing information for investors to research and propose appropriate solutions.

The city also requested that Alphanam soon arrange a focal point to work in Can Tho to coordinate the implementation and strive to inaugurate one or two projects in 2025.

Alphanam Group, founded by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hai in 1995, operates in diverse fields ranging from real estate and manufacturing to services, hotel management, and tourism. The enterprise is developing numerous urban, resort, and apartment projects in provinces and cities across Vietnam.

In recent years, Alphanam has actively expanded into other provinces. Notably, a joint venture related to the group won the pre-qualification for the Muong Hoa Urban Area project (Sa Pa, Lao Cai) in 2018; proposed a four-star hotel in Lai Chau (2019); introduced Altara Residences Quy Nhon (2019); and surveyed an eco-tourism area in Kon Tum (2020).

In December 2024, the joint venture between Dong A Golden Square JSC and Foodinco Quy Nhon JSC (belonging to Alphanam) commenced the construction of the Golden Square Lao Cai social housing project with a total investment of VND 2,085 billion, building four towers ranging from 18 to 23 floors.
