Global Acclaim for “Made in Vietnam” Samsung Phones

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a source of pride for Samsung, and it was one of their flagship smartphones launched in July.

This model marks an important milestone, introducing the next generation of foldable phones with enhanced design and performance.

It boasts the thinnest and lightest design to date (measuring only 8.9mm thick when folded and 4.2mm when opened, weighing 215 grams), along with a larger screen, a 200MP camera, the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with AI capabilities, and a 4,400mAh battery, all running on the One UI 8 interface.

Galaxy Z Fold7 impresses with its ultra-slim design.

Samsung introduced the world to foldable phones in 2019, ushering in a new era of mobile technology. As the name suggests, foldable phones can be folded, presenting a unique design compared to traditional smartphones.

Unlike conventional smartphones with unibody designs, foldable phones feature a central hinge that connects two screens, allowing the device to be folded and unfolded. This innovative design offers a seamless transition between a compact form factor and a larger display area.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is advertised as having a durability of 500,000 folds, twice that of its predecessors. Samsung is a pioneer and market leader in foldable phones, with the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series combined selling nearly 12 million units in 2022, outperforming all other brands in this segment.

In Vietnam, the Z Fold series has garnered significant interest. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 are expected to account for a substantial proportion, ranging from 65% to 70% of total orders in some retail systems.

In Samsung’s home market of South Korea, according to FNN News, the latest Z Fold7 model accounts for about 60% of pre-orders for the new foldable phone series, while the Flip models, including the Z Flip7 and Flip7 FE, make up the remaining 40%.
