The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment proposed to the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee for approval of the starting price for land use rights auctions and land prices in some locations in Thu Duc City.

Specifically, the Department of Agriculture and Environment proposed to the City Land Price Appraisal Council three land plots in Thu Duc. One of the proposals concerns the land price scheme for the Smart Complex Project – Thu Thiem Eco Smart City in Function Area No.2A, Thu Thiem New Urban Area, expected to collect VND 16,190 billion for the state budget.

In addition, the Department also proposed to the Council an auction plan for a nearly 15-hectare land plot in An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, to pay for the BT contract (build-transfer) for the parallel road project from Mai Chi Tho to Nam Rach Chiec residential area and to Vanh Dai 2 Road (parallel to the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh Expressway). The auction of this land plot is expected to bring in VND 3,494 billion to the state budget.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment also determined the land price for changing the land use purpose of an area of 828 square meters to be added to the land hand-over decision at the Nam Phan Residential Area Project (Thu Duc City), expected to collect VND 19 billion.

Furthermore, the Department of Agriculture and Environment proposed to the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee for approval of the starting price for the land use rights auction for the multi-functional commercial and residential area project on Lot No. 1-2 and Lot No. 1-3 in Function Area No. 1 and Lot No. 3-5 in Function Area No. 3 in Thu Thiem New Urban Area, Thu Duc City. The total starting price for the auction of these three land plots is VND 5,705 billion.

Thus, the total expected revenue for the state budget from the above-mentioned six land plots in Thu Duc City is over VND 25,400 billion.

In Binh Chanh District, the Department of Agriculture and Environment also proposed a land price scheme for Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park to Khang Phuc Housing Investment and Trading One-Member Limited Company to fulfill its financial obligations. The state budget is expected to collect VND 2,520 billion from this project.
