BMW Motorrad Vietnam has recently launched the new C 400 GT maxi-scooter. This mid-range, large-displacement scooter is powered by a 350 cc engine and falls under the brand’s premium urban mobility segment. Designed for long-distance riding, the C 400 GT offers a host of features and comforts.
With a starting price of 319 million VND, the BMW C 400 GT is significantly more expensive than its competitors in the 300 cc scooter segment, such as the Honda SH350i, Yamaha Xmax 300, and the recently launched Zontes 368G, all of which are priced below 200 million VND. However, as a fully imported model from Europe, the C 400 GT boasts superior specifications and features within its class.
The BMW C 400 GT is positioned in the premium segment and is priced above 300 million VND.
One of the notable features of the BMW C 400 GT is its braking system, which includes dual 265 mm front discs with four-piston calipers and a single 265 mm rear disc. The two-channel ABS is standard, and the scooter is also equipped with ABS Pro with Cornering ABS technology. This system allows for safe braking even when the scooter is leaned into a turn, thanks to its inclination sensor and ABS controller that optimally distribute braking force, reducing the risk of wheel slip and preventing the scooter from tipping over.
In addition to the advanced braking system, the C 400 GT also features traction control (DTC) and other riding aids such as DBC (Dynamic Brake Control) and MSR (Motor Slip Regulation).
The BMW C 400 GT’s engine meets the Euro 5+ emission standard and can run on E15 fuel.
Powering the BMW C 400 GT is a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 350 cc engine that complies with the Euro 5+ emission standard and can use E15 fuel. This engine produces a maximum power output of approximately 34 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm at 5,750 rpm. With a top speed of around 139 km/h, the scooter is well-suited for both city commuting and long-distance touring.
According to BMW Motorrad Vietnam, the C 400 GT has a fuel consumption rate of approximately 3.5L/100km based on the WMTC standard. With a 12.8-liter fuel tank and a 3-liter reserve, the scooter can cover more than 450 km on a full tank, ensuring uninterrupted long-distance journeys.

Optional top case can be mounted on the rear luggage rack.
As a premium offering, the BMW C 400 GT comes loaded with comfort and convenience features. The adjustable windshield allows riders to customize their wind protection, while the under-seat storage compartment features a hydraulic strut to hold the seat open and can accommodate a full-face helmet thanks to the Flexcase technology. The two-level seat design also includes a backrest for the rider, reducing fatigue on long rides.
A large TFT color display serves as the instrument cluster, providing not just essential riding information but also smartphone connectivity for navigation and hands-free calling via Bluetooth. Controls for these functions are conveniently located on the left handlebar. Additionally, the scooter features a front storage compartment with a USB charging port.
