On the afternoon of May 30, the Soc Trang Provincial Police continued to work with Mr. L.Q.N. (40 years old, from My Xuyen district, Soc Trang province) regarding his allegations against the C.P. Freshop store in Soc Trang, owned by CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company.

On the same day, a provincial inter-agency task force from Soc Trang (including economic police, market management, and Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Sub-Department officers) completed their inspection of goods at the C.P. Freshop store.

The inspection revealed that the pork products sold at the store bore the slaughter control stamps from the veterinary sector. Clinical test results also showed that these products met quality standards and showed no signs of harmful chemicals or preservatives that could affect consumers’ health.

The store representative affirmed that they always sell quality products with clear origins. Regarding Mr. N., the store representative revealed that he used to be a company employee and had been disciplined before.

Earlier, on the morning of May 30, Mr. Tran Van Lau, Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial People’s Committee, had directed the provincial police to promptly investigate and verify the case.
